Siam is in his second year at Trinity College, Oxford where he is reading Chemistry. He’s particular interest is in organic chemistry. The creativity and imagination that one develops when drawing various organic mechanisms he finds fascinating. He is also intrigued by the satisfying problem solving of NMR spectroscopy, the ability to identify unknown compounds he has made during his labs. As well as this, he has been pleasantly surprised with the amount of physics there is in the Chemistry course, as he has found studying the quantum behaviour of the electron to be challenging but very rewarding.
